Welcome To Philadelphia II
"The Second American Constitutional Convention"
 

Philadelphia II is a nonprofit 501(c)(4) public benefit corporation incorporated on December 1st, 1992. It's mission is to conduct the election for The National Initiative For Democracy. The National Initiative includes:

  • The Democracy Amendment, a proposed constitutional amendment asserting the right of the People to amend the United States Constitution without the intervention and beyond the control of their elected and appointed representatives.

  • The Democracy Act, a proposed federal law prescribing deliberative legislative procedures and creating an administrative agency, the Electoral Trust, to administer those procedures.

When enacted, the National Initiative will create a Legislature of the People in the United States.

Philadelphia II will conduct a national election in which Americans can vote to make the Democracy Amendment and the Democracy Act the law of the land.

The name "Philadelphia II" is based on historical fact that the first American constitutional convention took place in Philadelphia on May 25th to September 17th, 1787 in Philadelphia.
