Captain Tom Hudgens

Since 1996 Captain Hudgens has been the President and CEO of the Association To Unite The Democracies, headquartered in Washington DC. He is currently Chairman of the Board of this organization and is an Honorary Vice-President of the Campaign for UN Reform and a Certified Lay Speaker of the United Methodist Church. He previously served as Vice-President of the World Federalist Association, President of the World Citizens Assembly, and President of the Denver Executives Club. He is the author of "Let's Abolish War" which has sold over 110,000 copies. His second book, "The Night Jesus Christ Returned to Earth" is presently in circulation.

During WWII, Captain Hudgens was a flight instructor and Chief Pilot at an Army Air Corps Flight Training School at Cimarron Field, Oklahoma. After the war he served United Air Lines as Captain and Flight Manager for 36 years.

Since retirement at age 60 he has for 18 years continued as an Airline Consultant on Flight Safety, giving safety seminars to pilots all over the world. Having lost an older brother, a B-17 Commander, and three other close WWII combat pilot friends, Captain Hudgens is a passionate supporter of the abolition of war, to bring world peace with freedom and justice.
