Elliott Jacobson
Elliottt Jacobson has over twenty-two years experience in the motion picture and television industries, as well as assignments in mass communications, investor and public relations, writing and information technology. He enjoyed an impressive ascendancy at Columbia Pictures, rising to management in two years. A lifetime student of the motion picture industry, Mr. Jacobson has managed talent, authored screenplays, and has begun to develop and finance other film projects. He has studied acting, appeared in several motion pictures, T.V. productions and print and television ads and been interviewed on national television.
Mr. Jacobson spent four months in Bosnia beginning in February, 1993, assisting a colleague filming a documentary on the siege of Sarajevo. In 1989, he visited the former Czechoslovakia and East Germany, filming and witnessing the breach of the Berlin Wall and the Velvet Revolution. He has traveled to Western Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Mr. Jacobson has served in the City Halls of New York City and Syracuse, N.Y. and was an Assistant to the Secretary of the United States Department of Transportation.
Mr. Jacobson has completed public relations assignments for clients including the Super Conducting Super Collider, B.I. Industries. He has written for the Chicago Sun Times, edited a variety of newsletters, served several foreign heads of state and managed numerous Presidential State Campaigns.
Mr. Jacobson has a B.A. from Long Island University as well as certificates in Eastern European and Western European Area Studies. He is a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the National History Honor Society and studied International Relations at the Claremont Graduate School. Honorably discharged from the Army, Elliottt Jacobson was listed in Who's Who In The Midwest, the Political Resource Directory and Campaigns and Elections. He is a member of the Carter/Mondale Alumni Association.
