Ray Oliver is a former federal government employee retired after a career spanning 32 years in aerospace engineering and related program management. His first four years were with the McDonnell Aircraft Company. The remaining twenty-eight were devoted to helicopter projects within U.S. Army Aviation.
In 1995, Mr. Oliver became acquainted with the work of Philadelphia II and began assisting the Initiative Democracy effort within the Midwest office. During the 1980's he was an active member of the Commission on Human Rights of the Catholic Archdiocese of St. Louis and chaired their World Peace Committee.
Within Army Aviation, Mr. Oliver served in several capacities including Technical Manager in the Project Manager's Office for Utility Helicopters and the Apache Attack Helicopter. He completed his service while on the staff of the Program Executive Officer for Aviation (PEO-Aviation).
Raymond S. Oliver received a B.A. in Math-Physics from St. Josephs College (IN) and a B.S. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois.
